Io The Omnipotent, Io The Eternal, Io The Creator, Io Born Of Itself Io Of All Potential, Io The Ignitor, Io Who Sees All, Io Who Senses All Io The Source Of Light, Io The Inviolate, Io The Source Of All Growth Io The Source Of All Wisdom, Io The Source Of All Divinity Io The Limitless, Io The Boundless Io The Source The Nothingness That Could Be To the first, to the second, to the third, to the fourth To the fifth, to the sixth, to the seventh, to the eighth To the ninth, to the tenth, to the eleventh, to the twelveth That Refines Itself, That Hones Itself To Take Hold, Be Roused At Once Passive, At Once Active At Once Creator, At Once Created Genesis Of Creation A single cell to a universe, that knows, that hones, that fine-tunes Focuses and centres, finds balance in accord, surrenders in acceptance As an anchored core braces, and empowers, seeks its quintessence And ignites, and realises, and matures Perceives, hears itself and is still The Universe In A Cell The Active Elements That Would Be Male The Passive Elements That Would Be Female

In the beginning, before the birth of this world, before the endless mantles of darkness, before even the void of The Nothingness, is Io alone at the Concentric Pillar of Creation. The origin. Born of itself. The vital power, all-empowering. A consciousness permeating all things. A dynamic force. Extant. The spark of all things, the soul of all things. Within it lies the potential to be, its coming into being, and the being. All at once co-existing, as a thought becomes a word becomes an action.

Nothing is, in the void of The Nothingness. Like a person sleeping, energies dormant, latent. Peaceful yet invigorated. Able to be ignited. Senses opening and developing. The potential to come into being from nothing, nascent, self aware, pristine. Like a person dreaming. In the night of gestation. In the light of creation. Seeing the universe as it could be, the cosmos as it might be, creation as it is. As the tiniest grain of earth holds the entire world. Yet, all is void in The Nothingness.

For eons the primordial force lies motionless. Finally, in its dormancy, it moves. And again. It gains size and breadth. It begins to master itself. Io The Omnipotent gives form to the formless. Io The Eternal gives sound to vibration. Io The Creator fissures, Io Born Of Itself renders asunder. It gathers itself to itself. Ignites, illuminates, it is sacrosanct. The force anchors and takes root. Io The Initiator releases energy. Io The Enlightened bursts forth. Io The Inviolate formalises its centre. Io Who Sees All senses beyond. Aware.

The power gathers itself to itself. Io The Passive motivates. Io Who Senses All sees its own heart. Io The Source Of All Growth is a seed. Io The Source Of All Wisdom resounds. Io The Limitless breaths. Io The Boundless is the breath. Io The Source multiplies. Lo and behold, Io establishes its core.

The High-altar-priest rises Trandscending to the eternal Anchored within is creation, established is its bloom Opened is the eye of the heart! The taproot of understanding shoots forth It grows to the light, bountiful, flourishing It germinates and multiplies! The initiated power descends through the intangible cord The pure essence descends and is bound forever My formless core is raised, my physical form remains I am released, free – the power of creation permeates Transformed into nature, carried by the first born sons Nurtured by the priests, by this humble conduit Whose heart has been attested The axe is raised! Joined! Consent given! Agreed!

It is a centering beyond time and space

It is a centering beyond time and space. In the core. As it is with a seed, within whose tiny pith lies the majestic tree. Through anchoring will something come to be in the Nothingness. In the cherishing womb of the Great Nights Of Birthing. In the radiant light of the world. Within its core lies the essence of all things.

Te Ōrokohanga — The Genesis · Te Ōrokohanga · ahorangi.io
The force of creation abounds, it is the essence of the All The vitality is imbued, transformed into the spiritual by The Word The power is anchored, transformed into the physical by Nature My inner core is humbled, inner recesses anchored, my being protected I am untainted, purified, free! I swell with your presence, I’m charged by your light Peace replaces doubt, knowing replaces intellect I am the bloom of creation, endlessly created, bound and boundless! Through flawless concentration, through single point focus Absolute, irrepresible, connected! The light shines, illuminates, the sun and the moon Let this all come to be in fulfilment Joined! Consent given! Agreed!

Io re-anchors and braces itself. It is empowered. Focused. It grows and gives life. It re-centres again and again. It gathers itself to itself again and again. It ignites and is ignited, illuminates and is illuminated. It sanctifies and is inviolate. It enters its core. And as an atom splits and multiplies, it reproduces itself. Its active essence comes into being.

An essence from which the elemental stuff of existence will be born. Within its virile form lies the heart fabric of the skies, ignitor, protector, energiser, motivator, the stance of the male. And through this base will the template of the male, exemplified by the Protective Sky, come to be.

The sacred Learning Assembly opens The humble student is motivated The male teachings resound The female teachings resound The spirit is committed, like the posts shoring up the sky The spirit is devoted, like the overseers of nature Let my devotion be confirmed Let my commitment be a beacon It is up to each of us to hold fast to the post Proceed! Proceed! Let the axe be lifted! Joined! Questioned! And consented to!

Again Io recreates itself. It rebalances and is invigorated, it refines its quintessence, it reignites, extends, evolves, conceives, speaks, and as balance maintains its centre it produces the passive form of its essence. The core of the female. The nurturing mother. The birthing womb. Within its passive form lies the rudiments of the female, peace-making, guiding, fostering, sheltering, the stance of the woman. Through this base will the way of the female, exemplified by the Far Spread Land, come into being.

Te Ōrokohanga — The Genesis · Te Ōrokohanga · ahorangi.io
My head is adorned with the sacred knowledge of Io It is bound within, without, above and below It is joined to the base It anchors my essence, my core, my topknot, my source It enlivens me, humbles me, binding the knowledge to me An ancient knowledge, enduring, chiselled to my brow Bound to me is the word born from the single command of Rehua Like the sky moved by Tāne, like the land sought by Tāne Fought for by incantation, through the middle and side The battles raging through the skies bringing fear to all! Bind it to my essence, bind it to my core Bind it to my quintessential being Bind it fast, to hold! Proceed! Proceed! Lift the axe! It is bound! Questioned! And answered!

The anchored active base is established

The anchored active base is established. The braced passive base comes into being. The active base is male; from it will be born The Sky Who Protects All. The passive base is female; it will produce The Land Who Embraces All.

From the Active is born the imprint of the male From the Passive is born the imprint of the female And the source searches, and follows, and conceives of itself, It develops, is empowered, to become a thought To become a mind, to desire, knowledge and wisdom Clarity of knowing, to become form, to be given breath and life To achieve it, to be animated by it To produce time, to produce space The Night Of Gestation The Great Night Of Gestation, The Long Night Of Gestation The Laden Night Of Gestation, The Layered Night Of Gestation The Intuitive Night Of Gestation, The Demanding Night Of Gestation The Night Of Unseen Connections, The Night Of Sensory Perception The Night For Turning Away, The Night For Turning Towards The Night Of Metamorphosis, The Night Of Becoming The Nurturing Conception, pregnancy The swelling, the increasing, the enlarging The expanded, the extended Movement down, movement up

The Great Power again initiates itself, igniting its energies, causing its essential force to flow and fuel creation. As a leaf seeks the sunlight, it searches and senses, following its inner energy, instinct, motivation. Its sanctity, its fuel and its source, it blueprints into every single atom that will become a universe.

Te Ōrokohanga — The Genesis · Te Ōrokohanga · ahorangi.io
I journey with Tāne The uniter, the skymaker, the learned My essence is bound and expressed My core is tested and assessed! My commitment is equal to that of Tāne who shored up the sky And produced the many levels that motivate yet humble us Let my motivation shine, my devotion enlighten My light be as a beacon! I climb the skies to the waters of Rongo I immerse myself and am cleansed I enter the topmost sky to its open courtyard And am greeted by the multitudes of highborns Those who have conquered the unknown! I am bound to the essence, the core, the base! Hold fast the sacred knowledge of Rangiātea The first, second and third levels, join them fast! Link them together! Proceed! Proceed! Lift the axe! Joined! Questioned! And consented!

That atom, at once single, dual, multiple, is conceived. It grows and swells. It energises its spaces. It longs with an intensity beyond desire, to give body to thought. A thought that begins in the mind of The Nothingness. Thought is empowered. To take root. In the space of the mind. A blueprint. Attested and bonafide. Clarified. Embodied. Life giving. Acquired. Animated is the face of creation. Producing time. Producing space.

The Night and its mantles emerge. Its procreative power permeates and endures, endlessly. It’s a night pregnant with possibilities, intuitive, full of itself. Receptive yet demanding. Layer upon layer. Infinite connections all unseen. Sensory perception only. Feeling only. Nurturing waters, amniotic, that promulgate metamorphosis to give bloom to creation. A night of unlimited potential. The natural womb of the the Nights of Gestation.

The Night is potent and fertile. It conceives, pregnant with creation. It swells. It increases. The womb of the Night expands. Its creative power extends. Io The Base stabilizes its force, its reverence and sanctity, its heightened motivation. Its authority and sacredness find form in its quintessential vitality. The critical characteristics of Ranginui the male and Papatūānuku the female are embedded. Characteristics born from the active element and the passive element. Born in turn from creation’s foundation. As Io The Omnipotent masters itself. Ranginui encapsulates the male. Papatūānuku chrystalizes the female, the birthing house of people. The pair create the world.

The beam of humility is bitten by this devoted adept Bite the beam, bite it, and know humility, be humbled Be gracious of heart as I bow, know peace of mind in devotion In facing physical and spiritual challenges set forth by Io Who Acquires! Follow Tāwhaki’s journey from earth to sky, though difficult and unforgiving The fruits are abundant and enduring, like the widespread sacred waters That flow through the skies, feeding the multitudes, born from Io The Animated! Uplift this acolyte physically and spiritually I am untainted and without blemish, yet insignificant and small Tested and humbled at the beam, I am the offspring of Tāne Lightbringer Bite the beam hard! Bite it! Proceed! Forth! Lift the axe! Be joined! So be it! It is consented!

Rangi and Papa hang together in the current of the Nights of Gestation

Rangi and Papa hang together in the current of the Nights of Gestation. Ranginui is above, Papatūānuku is below. They see each other. Despite the space between them, despite the depth of the darkness and the endless layers of night, their desire to come together is strong. They turn to face each other and breathe the other’s breath, to look after the other’s essence. This is the embodiment of love. Unconditional love is the sacred bloom of Io.

It is is gentle current, a peaceful flow from the origin of water A fount, a pool, fertile and nurturing belonging to Io The Wellspring Let me be caressed by the cherishing waters of the earth May I be invigorated by the virile waters of the sky It is anchored and holds fast. Held! Raise the axe! Be joined! The question asked! And agreed to!
